That will be the result of the stimulus package the political leaders previously agreed on. The London budget airline company called EasyJet Airline Company Limited – or easyJet in short – has recently announced its losses for this year’s months. It says the losses more than doubled but when it comes to the end of this year it expects to be profitable again. UBS, biggest bank of Switzerland, has recently announced its figures for the first quarter of 2009. According to these figures the bank has already made a loss worth 2 billion Swiss francs. So as to cut costs the institution will make 8,700 employees redundant next year. The UK is to announce a scheme at the end of April to boost the demand for the automotive industry. The car scrappage scheme would enable car owners to trade their old cars in if they wanted to buy a new one. Richard Fisher, a member of the Federal Reserve's interest-rate setting committee, has revealed that the unemployment rate, which is now at a rate of 8.5%, could jump over 10% this year. If it happens then it would be the highest figure for the rate since 1983.
