Toy Story 3
It is a shame other studios working on animation cannot achieve what Pixar can. In every two years they release something that is extraordinary. This time, it was an exception, in terms of the story and the characters, as we have already known Woody and his fellow toys.
It was a re

I watched Couples Retreat yesterday. I think it was supposed to be funny at the same time serious reflecting the actors and actresses careers and lives already in their late 30s coming 40s. It was a rather OK film but nothing great. Vince Vaughn is really boring and not funny. What I enjoyed was the

Actually, yesterday I watched I am legend again. As you well know this is the remake of a Charlton Heston film titled Omega Man. That was made forty years ago, so it was high time they made a remake, it was just a matter of time.
Now if you liked the movie you might as well go on Yo

Prince of Persia
I saw this movie right after it came out, I just did not have the time to write a concise review of it.
The plot isn't that interesting. The king has three sons out of which one was adopted from the streets of Persia. Dastan, our main character, has the chance to grow

I have mixed feelings in connection with Tim Burton's latest movie. As I am writing this review there is still 30 more minutes left of the film. I just do not know whether to go on watching it or turn it off.
Unfortunately, I am not aware of the original story

Twelve Days: Revolution 1956, By Victor Sebestyen.
For anyone, but particularly non-natives living in Hungary, this is an excellent book to understand some of the recent History of Hungary. Written in a way that makes historical facts interesting, shocking and really hard to put the book down.

Based upon the below my suggestion for the topic of the (next) week:
- Comic-book adaptations: Can we really relive our childhood or they are just an excuse to make a profit?

Bigger, better, longer? Not exactly. Jon Favreau thought it would be enough to keep the running time, increase the number of jokes and the spectacle. So, basically, if we look at it, it is the same recipe but with added ingredients.
The new characters, such as Sam Rockwell and

Based upon my previous reviews below, these are my suggestions for the topic of the week:
1) Post-apocalyptic movies - Do we still need them or Mad Max says it all? Can they be refreshing or they are old-fashioned?
2) Zombie flicks - Basically the same as above; is it ok for Romero to ruin what

Madrid, Spain anyone?
Hi I'm new to TEA!
I'm working as a freelance programmer in Madrid and also doing some support (in English and German) for small businesses.
I'd like to hear from other people here on TEA, whether you are in Madrid as well, or you are in the same line of work in another city or country.

MAC vs PC
If you want to know why I don't use a MAC, click on the green pebble in any MacOS program. For fun try predicting what it will do beforehand.
It may seem a small thing, but it is a deal breaker for me that I can't maximize windows.

I have just finished reading China Miéville's The City and the City - really good to find a new dystopia novel, but with so much else going on too - it is also a pulp-fiction type noir, andvery atmospheric.
Basically, it is about two cities, a divided city, but split in ways that are preposterous

I've just finished Ayaan Hirsi Ali's autobiography, Infidel, a fascinatingly dense story of her life, family, education in several African and Middle Eastern countries and then in Holland, where she became a member of Parliament and friend of the murdered movie-maker Theo van Gogh. It is eye-openin
